It's going away. And we hardly had time to enjoy it. Way too short in the way of winsome weather, anyway. Love you listing of photos, especially the birds, fluffy little guy, dark crow, sunlit swan. The placement of Halloween Orange with October Blue Sky is so vibrant. One of my favorite color combinations.
Loved the picture of the stinker on his throne (oops, I meant thinker).
I love skippy little girls and black and white kitties.
Waaaah! Don't stay away too long!!! xxx
Oh, little girl in pink, how I wish I could run along with you!
Beautiful photos. I love the yard decoration with the skulls and the skeleton. And the beach ones, the birds flying away...okay, all of them.Farewell Fall, welcome Winter.
Loved all your pictures. The one with Running Roz was adorable.
VW Sedan graveyard turned me into a lachrymose puddle of goo...and now you're saying farewell?
Ps. Feel better soon, CarrieBoo. It's important. I don't say lachrymose to just anybody. And thanks for your kindness and encouragement.
Hey CarrieBoo,I'm ever so sorry you have been poorly and are struggling to type. Big respect to you for leaving that recorded message, eh :) What a marvellous assortment of photos you have shared. Please give my regards to Parker and yes, Happy 'Howloween' :) Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star, superstar! xx
So sorry that we won't see as much of you. You will be sorely missed. Thank you for the vlog, and I so hope that your recalcitrant hands improve. And I loved all of these photos. Thank you.
Aww! :( I'm so sorry your neck is giving you grief, luv. Even though we'll miss ya, please take the time needed to recoup and get better.P.S. It's nice to be able to put a voice to a face. Lovely to hear you, my dear. :)
Carrie, I will so miss you. I felt as if I was just getting to know you. Take care of yourself and I hope you are much better before too long. Your pictures are great! And I really loved hearing your voice :)Sending happy, healing thoughts your way.Later.....
CarrieBoo! Feel better, please, and soon. Your peeps will miss you. The zombie bunnies are practicing neck-easing chiropractic treatments on one another, with really rather gruesome results. If you see them approaching you, run. They do mean well, but...
So sorry to hear you aren't doing well, but it was really nice to actually hear you saying so, rather than just reading the words. I hope you get to feeling better real soon, kiddo. Loved your pictures, but to show you how much of a pervert I am, the one that really grabbed my eye was the one of the skeleton sitting on the commode. (His name is John, right?) Take care.
Just checking in to let you know I'm thinking about you. Hope things are starting to improve for you.
CARRIE... geez, stoopid arthritis. I'm SO sorry to hear you're not blogging. You are so, so, so funny, a very bright light on the internet. I was thinking I hadn't seen you around for a while and came looking for you and, voila, that's why you haven't been in my feed for a while. Let me just say you have a beautiful voice... and you are missed. :(
Just to let you know I'm thinking of you and I have entered you in my Christmas contest because I know you would have been there and entered for sure if you could. Hope things are starting to improve for you. Give the Roz girl a hug for me.
Only just reading these all now! I was too depressed to come on. Thank you so much everyone. I have missed you. You're all top peeps and mean a lot to me.Carrie hasn't been doing much carrying on lately, as she appears to have that stupid fibromyalgia in her body, which often feels like the shoulders have been dislocated from her body (at least that's the part that affects typing the most, besides the neck, spine, foggy-head, migraines and fatigue... legs and feet are another story). Needless to say, I've had to simplify things a bit in my life, try to focus on Roz and non-computer related activities. Any writing at all (I pay for it!--ouch) I'm trying to save for Zorzum edits, and hoping that in the warmer weather I can still do a short story or two. I will probably finish my novella by the year 2065 at this rate.I'm very sorry I can't keep up anymore. I really tried but in the end, pain wins out. Bugger. Not sure if anyone will see this, but wanted to explain somewhere. If any of you release a book or anything (before I find a magic pill), let me know by email, please! :) firstname.lastname@example.org Take care of yourselves, and thank you for all your kindness and generally restoring my faith in humans. Love, Carrie (maybe I should have made this a post... hmmm).
Dear Carrie,I am deeply saddened that the chronic pain of fibromyalgia is overwhelming your life. You are commended, under such trying times, to leave a follow up message. For what it's worth, myself and all those who have the great privilege of interacting with you, pray in our own ways, that the pain will ease and you can move on with your writing dreams, your hopes, your aspirations. In kindness, respect and admiration,Gary
I revisited your site in hopes of some word, some progress and find you are in pain! If there is no magic pill then consider a magic scarf, a blanket scrap --that's what I do. Yes, it sounds foolish for an old man to recapitulate the magic of childhood, but it is efficacious --I have said it! Of course I miss you dreadfully but, if getting on the computer hurts or saddens, let me miss you until you are well. But be warned, if I don't see your banana 2 months hence, I shall return for another strange and incomprehensible pep talk. My compliments and affection.
Dear Carrie,Just checking in to see how you are doing. I am so sorry you are in such pain. I have had friends with the same malady and they did eventually get better. So hang in there, you will get through this, and I hope good days will come to you soon.
Just checking in to remind you I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best!
Oh Carrie. Big hugs to you. I just dropped by to wish you a Merry Christmas and a pain-free New Year. xoxoxo
Hope you get better in the new year so you can get back to writing, including this blog. Best wishes to you all. Dorothy and Jim xxxooo
Just dropping in....hope you and yours had a warm and loving Christmas and all the best in the New Year..we are on the cusp... Wishing you health and happiness (ps..that Pearlie Girl just released her second book) Delores
Where, oh where art thou, matey! Hope you had a lovely Xmas, and wishing you all the best for 2013. (((hugs)))
Dear Carrie,Like all the lovely people above me, I just wanted to add another comment to express my concern and know that I care, we all care for you.May this turn out to be a most positive and healthier New Year for you, my friend.Hugs and kindness,Gary
Hoping you are starting to feel better by now.
I'm going to echo Delores' wishes. Try to have a peaceful, positive weekend, dear Carrie.
CarrieBoo! I've stopped in because you're important to me. From experience, I know a health problem requires moderating activities --strangely, I've found the better I get at it, the more I get done. But it sure takes time. Hope things get manageable for you soon; I miss your exquisitely kind and goofy humor.
Thanks for the information... I really love your blog posts... specially those on Local Tamil News
Still thinking positive thoughts northward. Even in March when I got my identity stolen and turned purple. Best wishes to you.
Just thinking about you, sweetie. I hope you're doing well. XOXO
Best wishes to you and hopes for your renewed company, CarrieBoo!
Merry Christmas, Carrieboo!
Earlier this month I got a comment reply from Laura Austan who says you've continued your writing. All my best wishes and admiration for your strength and determination.
