YouCam, We All Cam

My laptop came equipped with a strange little program called 'CyberLink YouCam' which we stumbled upon a few weeks back; and then proceeded to spend the next two hours recording the most ridiculous faces contrivable.

It began quite pleasantly, with cute graphical touches like this...

But as the night progressed, quickly turned to this...

And even this...


I'm sure these special graphic features will come in very handy one day; I just haven't figured out why, what, how or when yet. Oh wait... I just figured it out. I'm going to host my first giveaway.

      You can make video too and it's really easy to use. And it's free for this level of "engagement". ;)

  4. Delightful effects! I like how #1 contains a little dog guarding the door so no more head-eating shark-hats get in. And #2 confirms my suspicion that hats levitate over you. A handsome group, especially the lycanthrope in #4!

  9. Freak out time! Har! Har! Big heads and boobs without surgery. My fav is the incredible hulk getting ready to turn green. Think you might have angered him with that clever little ap. People without the creativity gene miss out on so much.

  11. Hahahahaha. I found this same thing on my ipad! I am not sharing my photos though, but that's only because I can't figure ot how to get them from the pad to the computer. WTH?

  12. Aha, for a moment there I thought I'd switched off the monitor and the second from bottom image was my own reflection..Thus is my case, not so much a graphic feature but a graphic creature :)
    I wont dare mention to the folks in England that Justin is Canadian. Let them keep thinking he's American.

  13. Oh god, you have way too much fun, Carrie!
    When we first got our computer a few years back we did the same thing, spent many, many hysterical hours playing around with our giant mis-shapen heads. So much better than any drek that happens to be on TV.

    I thought your husband was Arnold Schwarzenegger for a second.

    1. The funny thing is, Roz saw it because I had left it out for the photo (it was a hand-me-down I was going to swiftly remove) and ended up wearing it for a day not knowing who the guy is. I'm now trying to sneak it out of here. ;)
