YouCam, We All Cam

My laptop came equipped with a strange little program called 'CyberLink YouCam' which we stumbled upon a few weeks back; and then proceeded to spend the next two hours recording the most ridiculous faces contrivable.

It began quite pleasantly, with cute graphical touches like this...

And this...

But as the night progressed, quickly turned to this...

This...

And even this...

I'm sure these special graphic features will come in very handy one day; I just haven't figured out why, what, how or when yet. Oh wait... I just figured it out. I'm going to host my first giveaway.

Make your own crazy-faced concoction and win this extra stylish Justin Bieber t-shirt (size 7/8).

You know you want it!

(I would post more details, but somehow, I think I'm going to be stuck with this bad boy.)

  1. Ha! Great T-shirt. ;)

You know, I don't have that program on my computer. I should ask my hubby about it. I think my kids would have fun with it (and me too).

    1. You never know what you're going to get with hand-me-downs!

You can make video too and it's really easy to use. And it's free for this level of "engagement". ;)

  2. What a fun feature! I'll have to see if my laptop has it.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. It's great to meet you! :)

  3. Oh, it looks like you were having entirely too much fun. That gizmo could come in real handy for creating covers for your best-selling sci-fi book, ya know. All you have to do is write it.

    1. I'm sure we need to get out more. ;) A sci-fi cover you say. Hmmmmmmmm!

  4. Delightful effects! I like how #1 contains a little dog guarding the door so no more head-eating shark-hats get in. And #2 confirms my suspicion that hats levitate over you. A handsome group, especially the lycanthrope in #4!

    1. Yes, our little guard dog is doing his job. One shark-hat at a time is about all we can manage. Lycanthrope? LOLOLOLOLOL!

  7. When I see my granddaughters sitting on the couch with my iPad in hand and giggling hysterically, I know they are playing with that ( or another like it) program.

    1. We are actually considering getting an iPad (iTablet?) for Roz this year. Partly because I want to see one in action! But shhhhhhhh! :)

  8. Wonderful photos. And as the night wore on my laughter would have endangered my self respect and my undies.

    1. That would have been me... it may have been longer than two hours (some of the stuff we came up with) but I didn't want to worry you guys.

  9. Freak out time! Har! Har! Big heads and boobs without surgery. My fav is the incredible hulk getting ready to turn green. Think you might have angered him with that clever little ap. People without the creativity gene miss out on so much.

    1. Now if I could get him to redo that shot wearing the little Justin Bieber t-shirt, all stretched and ripped, the shot would be an artistic masterpiece.

  10. Hahahahaha. I found this same thing on my ipad! I am not sharing my photos though, but that's only because I can't figure ot how to get them from the pad to the computer. WTH?

You can have the t-shirt though. No thanks.

  11. Aha, for a moment there I thought I'd switched off the monitor and the second from bottom image was my own reflection..Thus is my case, not so much a graphic feature but a graphic creature :)
I wont dare mention to the folks in England that Justin is Canadian. Let them keep thinking he's American.
    Take care, eh.

  12. Oh god, you have way too much fun, Carrie!
When we first got our computer a few years back we did the same thing, spent many, many hysterical hours playing around with our giant mis-shapen heads. So much better than any drek that happens to be on TV.

I thought your husband was Arnold Schwarzenegger for a second.

  14. Ha ha, how funny! Gee, I don't know how I'll ever live without a Justin Bieber tee-shirt but I guess I'll try. It belongs on some "little girl in love's" body!

    1. The funny thing is, Roz saw it because I had left it out for the photo (it was a hand-me-down I was going to swiftly remove) and ended up wearing it for a day not knowing who the guy is. I'm now trying to sneak it out of here. ;)
